Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Treatment Service

The Long Island Consultation Center offers a comprehensive outpatient treatment program licensed by the NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Service (OASAS).

Our primary purpose is to address the needs of those affected by the disease of alcoholism, drug abuse and other addictive illnesses.

Our highly qualified and professional staff are trained and experienced in the treatment of addictive diseases. We treat all apsects of the illness with the goal of helping the addicted individual and their family of a life of abstinence and balance.

Our holistic approach to addiction utilizes aspects of the 12 step self-help groups and harm reduction to create awareness and education around the disease concept of addiction. We also help the individual gain insight into management of obsessive/compulsive patterns which lead to relapse.

DWI PROGRAM

The Long Island Consultation Center, Inc. is an OASAS licensed facility and a provider of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYS DMV). LICC provides an alcohol outpatient treatment program for persons arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). Motorists are referred for treatment evaluation and/or are mandated for treatment by one or more of the following agencies: NYS DMV, NYS DMV's Drinking Driver Program, New York City Police Department's Vehicle Seizure Unit, County Courts, and the Departments of Probation and Parole. LICC also provides services to persons receiving DWI's in other states and reside in New York.
